I’m Bill Young, founder and owner of Fit The Bill, a family-owned and -operated local business. I was born and raised in Pittsburgh. I have 15+ years experience as a heavy equipment operator in the residential and commercial plumbing industry. I decided to start my own business with the goal of freedom and financial independence and a better way of life for myself, my wife, and our two children. At the foundation of my business are the core values of integrity, quality, and dependability. I enjoy working with all kinds of people and offering them a valuable and useful service, and I love the feeling of accomplishment from a job done well.
I understand how the list of home projects can get long while time is short. If there is something you need (or want) to cross off your list, let me do that for you! I look forward to meeting you.
I’m Bill’s wife, Margie. When I’m not helping Bill with our family business, I work in the Rangos Research Building of Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC in the field of traumatic brain injury. Originally from Richmond, VA, I earned my BS in psychology from the University of Georgia and my PhD in biopsychology from Virginia Commonwealth University.
The kiddos love playing with and caring for their own dogs as well as their dog-sitting clients every day. School, karate, gymnastics, band, and orchestra keep them really busy, but when they have time they enjoy working on Fit the Bill projects with mom and dad.
